Miss Earth 2009, the 9th edition of Miss Earth beauty pageant, will be held between the 4th and 24th of October, 2009 in a venue yet to be announced. The Miss Earth winner serves as the spokesperson for the Miss Earth Foundation, the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and other environmental organizations.
